What are criteria in Winnow?
Criteria are the values used to build your surveys in Winnow. Some criteria, like product type and jurisdiction, are required to build a survey. Others are optional and can be applied both while building your survey and from your survey results. Also, some criteria values are only available for certain product types. Ex: “Property Type” for the “Mortgages” product type.
Required criteria aren’t able to be changed from your survey results because doing so could change the structure of your survey entirely. The values that can be changed are shown as a list in the left sidebar when viewing your results. To change your survey’s required criteria, click the Edit link in the survey options dropdown menu.
Since searches are less structured than surveys, most criteria can be applied without restriction. However, adding too many criteria to a search query can result in few to zero results.
